Mrs. Minnesota America Pageant
Mrs. Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin-America Pagent
Main Hall | Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 7:00 PM
 Join us as we crown Mrs. Minnesota, Mrs. Iowa, and Mrs. Wisconsin. The winners of each state will compete at the Mrs America Pageant, to be held in the fall of 2013. To qualify, a woman must be at least 18 years of age, a US citizen, a resident of her state for at least 3 months and married. Competition includes interview, physical fitness and evening gown. The Mrs. America pageant has been existence for 35 years and is the leader in pageants for married women. This year's queens are, Minnesota, Ali Carr, Iowa, Jamie Cherland, Wisconsin, Natalie Boyd. Club Book with Carl Hiaasen

Carl Hiaasen is the author of sevearl national bestselling novels, including Strip Tease, Sick Puppy, and Nature Girl, as well as four best-selling children's books, Chomp, Flush, Hoot and Scat. Since 1985, he's written a regular Sunday column in the Miami Herald and published compendiums of his best newspaper work in the collections Kickass and Paradise Screwed. Hiaasen will speak about his new adult novel, Bad Monkey, "a wickedly funny, fiercely pointed tale in which the greedy, the corrupt, and the degraders of pristine land in Florida...get their comeuppance in mordantly ingenious, diabolically entertaining fashion."
